Today’s sermon is from Matthew 17:1-9 on the Transfiguration of Jesus. What is a transfiguration? It is like the change a catepillar goes through to become a buttlerfly. It is the same creature but changed. This metamorphasis is what happens to Jesus when in the flesh His divinity is revealed. Jesus is both Man and God. Peter sees Jesus transfigured and is certain he is about to die. But Jesus says, ‘Do not be afraid.” And the Father says, ‘Listen to my Son, Jesus.” We will do that in this morning’s podcast.
