Obituary of Virginia Fegley
Virginia Kay Fegley, 72, of Muscatine, passed away on Friday, June 24, 2016 at Premiere Estates. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 1, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Our Savior Lutheran Church. Interment will be in Muscatine Memorial Park Cemetery. Following the interment a time of food and fellowship will be held at the Church. Visitation for Virginia will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services. Virginia Kay Miller was born on May 23, 1944, in Kewanee, Illinois, the daughter of John Warren and Bernice Sadie (Staubus) Miller. On July 29, 1976, Virginia was united in marriage to Jay Fegley in Kewanee, Illinois. Virginia had worked for various companies doing secretarial work, most recently working as a retail merchandiser for Hallmark. She enjoyed photography, word puzzles, jigsaw puzzles and most of all spending time with family and friends.
Virginia will be deeply missed by her husband, Jay Fegley of Muscatine; daughter Michelle Morgan and her husband Larry of Wilton; two granddaughters, Katie (Ty) Scott and Heather (Kenny) Chavis; three great-grandchildren, Joe, Lexi and Kaylynn; sisters Janet M. Miller of Eau Claire, WI and Marlene A. Gunning of Mount Prospect, IL; and one niece and seven nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Bryan.
