I pray all are well after witnessing Ethan Fry's reception of Holy Baptism yesterday morning.  Cards may be sent to:  103 Evergreen Drive, Fruitland, IA 52749.  Darren Banko is recovering at home.  Please keep both Ethan and Darren in your prayers. ETHAN FRY receives Holy Baptism this morning at the 9:00 am Divine Service.

HYMN OF THE MONTH  for September is the Apostles’ Creed set to a musical setting.  We will sing Hymn #953 rather than #954 which seems to be the congregational preference.   The Hymn for October is God’s Word Is Our Great Heritage LSB #582.  If you have a favorite hymn that you would like to hear more often, contact Pastor Pautz.

SUNDAY SCHOOL for all ages meets at 10:30

LWML APPLE PIE MAKING this Saturday, September 30th, from 8am - 1pm.  And again on October 7th.  Please sign up.

LWML SUNDAY is next Sunday.

WEEKDAY SCHOOL meets this Wednesday at 6:15.  

ANGEL FOOD CAKES at an asking price of $6 each.  100% of the proceeds will go to the Mercy Fund.  Contact Marsha Graf.

LWML FALL RALLY at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Fairfield on Sat. October. 21st.  We will be leaving the church parking lot at 7 a.m. that morning.  A signup sheet for reservations is on the easel by the poster if you can join us for a spirit filled day.  

GENTLE REMINDER Ladies, please cover your neckline at the altar rail and dress modestly in general. Gentlemen, dress your best.  “Beauty is vain” (Proverbs 31:30).
